By accessing or using Gradients.design, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Gradients.design.
Gradients.design provides a website for browsing gradient designs and color palettes, and a free Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with curated gradient backgrounds.
The gradients, palettes, and CSS code available through our website and Chrome extension are provided for personal and non-commercial use. You may copy CSS gradient code for use in your own personal projects.
You may not redistribute, resell, or package gradients from our service as a standalone product, gradient library, or design template collection.
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove any features, gradient types, rendering engines, presets, palettes, styles, export formats, or other functionality at any time without prior notice. This includes the removal of previously available presets or features. Your subscription grants access to the service as it exists at the time of use, not to any specific feature set. Changes to the service are not grounds for a refund.

The Gradients.design application, including its design, source code, GLSL shaders, rendering engines, built-in presets, curated palettes, user interface, and branding, is the intellectual property of its creators and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
The service is provided for your use under these terms, but the underlying technology, software, and creative assets that power the application remain our exclusive property. No rights are transferred except the limited license to use the service as described herein.
Your preferences and favorites are stored locally in your browser. We do not collect personal information or store your data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the service or uninstall the extension at any time. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gradients.design and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Gradients.design is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific feature, preset, or rendering engine will remain available.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gradients.design and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the service or email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the service and cancel any active subscription.
