Gradients.design is a browser-based gradient creation studio offering both free and Pro subscription tiers. The free tier provides core gradient creation features at no cost. Pro is a recurring subscription that provides access to premium features including hi-res exports, video and GIF export, pro color spaces, and additional presets.
Since digital content delivery begins immediately upon subscribing to Pro, the 14-day right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) does not apply. This is in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) and German BGB §356 Abs. 5, which provide that the right of withdrawal expires once the supply of digital content has begun with the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
By subscribing to Pro, you expressly consent to immediate access to premium features and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon activation of your subscription.
Despite the above, we offer voluntary goodwill refunds on a case-by-case basis within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not used any Pro features during that period. To request a goodwill refund, contact us at support@gradients.design with your purchase date and the email address associated with your account. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.
Your Pro subscription grants access to premium features as they are currently available. Features, presets, gradient types, styles, and export options may be added, modified, or removed at any time as part of ongoing product development. Changes to the available feature set are not grounds for a refund. Your subscription entitles you to access whatever Pro features are available at the time of use.
The free version of Gradients.design requires no payment and therefore no refund policy applies. You may use the free features without any financial obligation.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your profile. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. This allows us to resolve the issue quickly and avoid unnecessary fees for both parties. In most cases, we can process a refund faster than a chargeback would take.
